Textile UV Stabilizer Masterbatch
UV stabilizer masterbatch formulated to protect synthetic fibers, yarns, shade nets, and geotextiles from solar UV degradation.

Textile UV Stabilizer Masterbatch
Textile UV Stabilizer Masterbatch is an advanced additive concentrate formulated with high-molecular-weight Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers (HALS) and synergized UV absorbers. Designed for Polypropylene (PP), Polyester (PET), and Polyamide (PA) fibers, yarns, and woven tapes, it protects synthetic polymers against photodegradation caused by solar ultraviolet radiation.
Without UV stabilization, synthetic fibers exposed to outdoor sunlight undergo chain scission, severe loss of tensile strength, discoloration, and embrittlement.
Key Features & Benefits
- High-Molecular-Weight HALS Technology: Non-volatile, thermal-stable formulation preventing gas fading or extraction during melt extrusion.
- Superior Tenacity Retention: Retains 80% - 95% of original yarn tensile strength after thousands of hours of intense solar exposure.
- Prevents Discoloration & Chalking: Inhibits surface micro-cracking, yellowing, and degradation of synthetic fibers.
- Spinning Process Compatibility: Excellent dispersion with minimal filter pressure influence (DFP) on high-speed extrusion lines.
Target Applications
- PP Woven Tapes & FIBC Jumbo Bags: Extrusion of UV-resistant PP flat tapes for woven sacks, big bags, and container liners.
- Agricultural & Shade Nets: Protection of anti-hail nets, greenhouse shading fabrics, crop covers, and windbreaks.
- Outdoor & Technical Textiles: Awnings, tarpaulins, umbrella fabrics, outdoor furniture upholstery, and marine ropes.
- Artificial Turf & Fibrillated Yarns: UV stabilization for sports fields and residential landscaping synthetic turf yarns.
